Mad Lab

I am a natural scientist. Everyday I am exploring, observing and theorizing. I love the mad lab because I
am encouraged to touch everything I see.

Today we are doing a cooking project. My teacher lets me measure as I add all of the ingredients, she
is helping me develop my fine motor skills by letting me mix and she doesn’t mind if I make a mess! My
friends and I watch as our muffins bake in the oven. My teacher sets the timer and talks to us about
time. Wow, it’s amazing how the muffins rise as they are cooking! Ding, the 10 minutes are up! Now
it’s time to eat what we created!
